It is a modern property located in City-Centre district near the cathedral, and shops.

Overall it was reasonably spacious with memory foam beds. The staff there were pleasant and absolutely kind. The hotel had an excellent location just close to Praza de Galicia Playground.

The bathroom was very small.

It was reasonably clean and the staff were attentive and top-class, beds were really nice. Location: the hotel was really close to major bus stop, train station and entrance to old town. The restaurant was located within 200 metres.

I truly enjoyed its very-very nice and courteous employees.

Had a really comfortable stay here. The breakfast with real fresh orange juice was incredibly nice, you’ll find what you need. Got single room with sofas, good A/C and sofa bed as expected.

Great location, just minutes away from shops and the historic town center. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the breakfast had a good variety. I would recommend this hotel.

Drawbacks: The walls were a bit thin and I could hear the guests next door. However, this is something the hotel can't do much about.

This hotel was excellent.In the centre of santiago only 5 minutes from the cathedral and in a busy area of the city with plenty of shops,bars and restuarants in the area.The rooms were very clean and comfortable and the staff very friendly and helpful.The breakfast was very reasonable price 3.75 and was very good.Absolutely no complaints about this hotel.

Only problem was parking,but this is the same with all city centre hotels.At least with this hoel they offer a discount if you use the local underground parking only 5 minutes walk from the hotel.So no major problem for us.

The location was excellent and the staff most helpful. I had found hotel rooms in this price range in Santiago to be small and claustrophobic but not so in The Maycar. The rooms were relatively spacious and very comfortable. A big plus is that there is a spacious lobby where we could leave our bags in safety both on arrival and departure. All in our group were most happy with The Maycar and I could not recommend it more highly. Terrific value.

We ordered lunch at a nearby restaurant and it was amazing.

The staff was very accommodating and pleasant and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. Even though we were on the street side of the hotel, the room was quiet at night. The location was extremely convenient.

The hotel was very convenient to the old town-about a 10 minute walk. Staff was friendly and helpful. Discounted parking was available at the end of the street. Good value.

My friends room was in the front of the hotel. Each night until very late (4-5am) there was a lot of street noise from partying people.

The hotel's location on a bustling shopping street puts you in close proximity to the historical area, while offering a vibrant atmosphere. The rooms, complete with baths and great lighting, are not only comfortable but also well-furnished. Moreover, the attention to detail is evident in the breakfast selection, which includes real fresh orange juice and a variety of fresh fruits.

All was just perfect!

The female assistant at the front desk was friendly, helpful and welcoming. cleaning staff attentive and detailed. the reception area with its bounty of sandwiches, tea and juice was ideal for clients just entering the hotel. eating area clean, efficient, service friendly. hotel perfectly situated, clean, reasonably priced.

The male staff at the front desk were not amiable or helpful. They lacked eye contact &/or proper greeting with guests. They seemed bothered by requests. Clients are the bread and butter of a business, they should be treated accordingly.
